The C-20 Mystery-Bill Everett-1939

Four colors? Many of the early comic books actually featured cost-cutting sections in two colors as in this story's black and pink! This is from a 1939 issue of Centaur's SUPER MYSTERY FUNNIES packaged by Funnies, Inc, the same group of artists who did the early Marvel (Timely) Comics. These included Carl Burgos, Paul Gustavson and Bill Everett. This particular story is by the latter, soon to be the subject of a highly anticipated book by author Blake Bell!

Technically, that's "two color" printing -- black and magenta being the inks involved. You don't count the paper color.

Fun story!

Don't call magenta "pink". It's rude :)
