Artist Russ Heath has been chugging along drawing comics now for nearly six decades! War comics! Western comics! Adventure comics!Humor comics! SEA DEVILS! LITTLE ANNIE FANNY! and those ubiquitous Silver Age back cover war toy ads! Last night he was feted in L A in a fundraiser to help with some current health issues and he is to be one of the main guests this coming weekend at the Cincinnati Comic Expo. Here's a brief 1957 piece showcasing tanks, one of the artist's areas of expertise.
