Captain Flash-Mike Sekowsky-1955

Captain Flash was one of those interim superheroes who came in went during the "Dark Age" of comics between EC and the Silver Age. With atomic based powers he activated by clapping his hands he fought crime and spies and aliens alongside his non-powered sidekick, Ricky. Seriously, couldn't someone have spent more time coming up with better sidekick names? GCD says this is Mike Sekowsky who came up with the character but it doesn't look nearly as much like the future JLA artist as most of the Captain's adventures do. Perhaps he had a rather heavy-handed inker here?

It does look like Sekowsky's work to me. Comparing this to his DC woork is a bit off, because it's there that his work was slicked up by heavyhanded inkers. On his own he used two types of inkers; the very slick ones, like Mike Peppe or some very rough ones, like Celardo. And probably others. This looks like neither of those, by the way.

I agree with Ger on Sekowsky pencils, although I also don't have a clue as to the inker

Y'know, Captain Flash is said to be clapping his hands, but he's drawn more as if he's making a rude noise with them.
