Subbie-Kid Komics-1942

This little known Timely tale might well be termed "I was a teenage Sub-Mariner!" The art--possibly by diverse hands--is even reminiscent of Bill Everett, Namor's creator, but credited (with a  question mark) to another longtime Sub-Mariner artist, Carl Pfeufer. There was only one more installment of this series after this.

That was very enjoyable. It's too bad the strip was so short lived. From the blurb at the end, it seems there was some real plan behind the character & his "relationship" to the Submariner. Would have been interesting to see where that could have gone. And might he have eventually become a member of The Young Allies, too??

Thanks for posting it!!
